Added Security

It is specially tailored as a more secure payment solution to protect the credit card data and credit line of your EastWest Platinum Mastercard for online transactions.

• Has a different card number, expiry date, and card validation code (CVC).
• Has an assigned sub-limit from your EastWest Platinum Mastercard.

To complete your online purchase, you are required to enter the unique 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP) that is sent to your registered mobile number in EastWest.

Assigned Credit Limit

The credit limit of your Virtual Card is a sub-limit of your EastWest Platinum Mastercard. The line availability of your Virtual Card is based on the available credit limit of your EastWest Platinum Mastercard. Transactions done through the Virtual Card is automatically deducted from the available credit limit of your EastWest Platinum Mastercard.

The initial sub-limit assigned to your Virtual Card is set at Php10,000. You may request for a higher sub-limit of up to 50% of the credit limit of your EastWest Platinum Mastercard, but not more than Php100,000, subject to evaluation.

Improved Transaction Monitoring

All your online purchases and subscriptions with the Virtual Card are reflected in your monthly EastWest Platinum Mastercard electronic Statement of Account. Posting of transaction details are grouped indicating the Virtual Card number used. These transactions shall be billed and paid in Philippine Peso.

You can view your billed and unbilled transactions anytime, through EastWest Online, EastWest Mobile App, and EastWest System Tech Assistant (ESTA) chatbot.

Lost/Stolen Card Protection

Immediately chat with ESTA chatbot at www.ewlend.com/esta, choose Report; or call the EastWest 24-Hour Customer Service Hotline at +63288881700 to report lost or stolen EastWest credit card and request for its replacement. You will be free of any financial liability from fraudulent charges made on your EastWest credit card from the time you reported the loss or theft of the card.

A Card Replacement Fee of Php200 will be charged to your EastWest Platinum Mastercard.

Standard delivery time of replacement card:
For billing address in Metro Manila, 7 to 9 banking days.
For billing address outside Metro Manila, 9 to 12 banking days.

Your EastWest Platinum Mastercard Virtual Card shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
